British Slang & a New Boy In School
Dear Diary,
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much happened at school today.
Like, I know we’ll never be in the “popular” crowd, but I gotta say — for not being what the “popular” kids think is “popular,” we are getting a pretty big crowd.
Here is who was at our lunch table today:
- Me
- Preeti
- G
- Sally
- Janet
- Susan
- Ade
- Bernice
- This new kid that lives on Ade’s street named Bicho (the kid, not the street) (he seems pretty cool for a kid with a strange name)
- Smillew
- David P.
- Rodrigo

Then, get this…..Sue and Sue walked by hanging all over Kristina like she was some kind of GOD. I get that she’s the most popular kid in school and all, but they looked like the wicked witch’s evil monkeys. Frankly…
