I take more time with my memoirs because I care so much about them! When I write about myself, say, in personal essays, I can whip those out quickly. Articles I have to research take forever. Personal essays are what take the least amount of time for me. But, really, there is no magic number or answer. It doesn't really matter as long as you're loving what you're doing.
